Editor of The Lancet Says Journals Have Become “Information-Laundering Operations”

RFK Jr. has launched a frontal assault on the medical journals which were looked to for authoritative information during COVID, of which the editor of The Lancet, the premier medical journal in the world, shockingly said in 2004:
” medical journals have become an important but underrecognized obstacle to scientific truth-telling. Journals have devolved into information-laundering operations for the pharmaceutical industry.”
RFK Jr. said in a interview with Dr. Drew that the medical journals were “deceiving doctors, they are harming people, they are killing Americans, and we need to make it stop.”
Kennedy Jr. argued, in an interview with Dr. Drew, that “lying” in medical journals is a major cause of division in America.
“We cannot trust the sources that are there to actually provide us with good information,” Kennedy said to TV host Dr. Drew.
Kennedy said:
“As soon as I’m elected and appoint my Attorney General, one of the first meetings the Attorney General is going to have is to call the editors and publishers of those journals…and tell them we are about to file racketeering cases against them for lying to the public, under antitrust acts and under fraud acts, and under RICO which is a statute that my father wrote. If they don’t come up with a plan as to how they are going to divorce themselves from the pharmaceuticals industry, then we are going to go into their offices and we are going to confiscate their files and we are going to prosecute them criminally. Because this is just part of the big lie to the American public. They’re deceiving doctors, they are harming people, they are killing Americans, and we need to make it stop.”
Kennedy Jr.s’ father Bobby Kennedy was the Attorney General of the United States under President John F. Kennedy.
Richard Horton, the editor of The Lancet, wrote in The New York Review of Books in a famous article, “The Dawn of McScience”:
“The process of [scientific] publication has been reduced to marketing dressed up as legitimate science. Pharmaceutical companies have found a way to circumvent the protective norms of peer review. In all too many cases, they are able to seed the research literature with weak science that they can then use to promote their products to physicians.”
In the summer of 2020 The Lancet was forced to retract a peer-reviewed study which bashed hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as a treatment for COVID, although doctors around the world and other studies were reporting life-saving properties. The Lancet came under fire when suspicious scientists requested the raw data and found out that it had been faked.
Under FDA rules, a new vaccine cannot be granted EUA – Emergency Use Authorization – as long as there is an available alternative.” The availability of HCQ as a cheap and effective alternative for treating COVID would have saved countless lives. It also would have greatly slowed the roll-out of the COVID vaccines, by nearly a year, and lessened the demand for any vaccine since an effective safe treatment was available.
The New England Journal of Medicine, affiliated with Harvard, also published the fake anti-hydroxychloroquine study and was forced to retract. But despite the retractions, thousands of articles quoting the study remained on the Internet, and can be found to this day.
However, any study showing the effectiveness of remedies such as HCQ or Ivermectin which are posted on social media such as Facebook are quickly found and censored by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s censorship teams and algorithms.
The influence of Big Pharma on the US and world medical establishment is notorious, In 2014 DrugWatch reported that Big Pharma, with companies like Pfizer at the top of the list, paid $3.5 billion to hospitals and doctors in the previous year to promote their products. Many critics call it legal bribery.
In the short documentary The Illusion of Evidence-based Medicine, Science Ethics Professor Leemon McHenry explains how many science studies in medical journals are actually “ghostwritten” by pharmaceutical industry marketing departments, then given to scientists who may have done some work with a new drug, but had nothing to do with the study. The scientists then put their names on the study as well as their institutional affiliations.
The pharmaceutical industry writers can and do tweak the science on a new drug, such as by omitting clinical trials deaths and other negative events. The pharma companies then run expensive ads for the new drug in the medical journal, alongside the compromised study, enriching the medical journal.
In 2017 The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) reported in the article “Merck Manipulated the Science about the Drug Vioxx” that the company Merck had falsified data concerning the true risk of heart attack caused by its painkiller Vioxx, in a peer-reviewed study published in the prestigious Annals of Internal Medicine. The study was ghostwritten by Merck but ascribed to scientists affiliated with the University of Arizona. The UCS wrote:
Merck’s manipulation of its data—and the FDA’s resulting approval of Vioxx in 1999—led to thousands of avoidable premature deaths and 100,000 heart attacks. Dr. David Graham, the Associate Director for Science and Medicine in FDA’s Office of Drug Safety, testified in 2004 before the Senate Finance Committee that the FDA’s failure to recall Vioxx earlier had resulted in as many as 55,000 premature deaths from heart attacks and stroke…”
In a 2009 New York Times report, “Ghostwriting Is Called Rife in Medical Journals,” the Times revealed:
“Six of the top medical journals published a significant number of articles in 2008 that were written by ghostwriters, according to a study released Thursday by editors of The Journal of the American Medical Association.
Among authors of 630 articles who responded anonymously to an online questionnaire created for the study, 7.8 percent acknowledged contributions to their articles by people whose work should have qualified them to be named as authors on the papers but who were not listed.
In the scientific literature, ghostwriting usually refers to medical writers, often sponsored by a drug or medical device company, who make major research or writing contributions to articles published under the names of academic authors.”

Shocking World Health Organization (WHO) data shows an astronomical jump in global, non-COVID excess deaths in mid-2021 and beyond, during the height of the global mRNA vaccination campaign. At the same time reported COVID deaths went flat or steadily declined. The tidal waves of non-COVID excess deaths, especially among the young, is just now beginning to be reported in the mainstream media.
Yet more astonishing, data from the respected Our World in Data shows that, in countries where good data is available, increases in excess deaths from all causes track the rate of vaccination, to a startling degree. The data reflects the methodology of Columbia University Professor Spiro Pantazatos, who analyzed independent data sets and found that the higher the rate of vaccination, the higher the rate of excess deaths from all causes in relevant time periods.
Many forensic pathologists, such as the late Professor Dr. Arne Burkhardt, MD, have charged that the mRNA COVID vaccines, actually genetic manipulators, are directly responsible for the wave of sudden, unexplained deaths now being acknowledged by the major media, government, and medical establishment, who are attempting to lay blame on causes as wild as climate change.
Excess deaths, also called excess mortality, is defined as the number of people who die in a given time period which is over and above what would be expected from previous years in the same time period, a number which generally holds extremely steady. A change of 1% would be normal. Since the COVID vaccine roll-out, excess deaths have run as high as 40% and more. In mid-2021 in South Africa all-cause deaths over and above what would be considered normal reached 80%.
In the charts below, uncanny matches occur in the peaks and valleys, indicating that as vaccinations go up, excess mortality from all causes goes up. Peaks in mortality slightly follow peaks in vaccination. Across different countries using different data sets this essentially guarantees cause and effect.

The chart below shows global excess deaths from all causes alongside global reported COVID deaths, from January 2020 through December 2021, the year of the mRNA COVID vaccines roll-out.

In the US, in the latter half of 2021, excess deaths among person under 49 was as high as 40%, according to life insurance company data.
Although total excess deaths data by definition represents deaths by all causes, the WHO labels the deaths as “directly and indirectly associated with the COVID-19 pandemic,” in an attempt to implicate COVID, even though the most massive jump in excess deaths took place during the height of the global vaccination campaign, as the supply chain reached every corner of the globe.
In the UK, portable refrigerated morgue units have made a comeback as hospital morgues overflow.
The major media has painstakingly hidden all of this, what would ordinarily be a story of the century.
The organization Mortality Watch reports that for Americans ages 0- 24, excess deaths are higher than they were at the height of COVID in 2020, by a shocking average of about 20%.

Spates of articles in the major media seem designed to obscure the trend of high excess mortality following the COVID vaccination roll-out. One of the most common highlights the statistic that Red counties and states in the US have higher COVID death rates, with the inference intended that lower vaccination rates in these areas are responsible.
The articles neglect to mention that Red counties have for decades had higher death rates from all causes than Blue, mostly metropolitan areas, due to health factors such as greater obesity and smoking, and the locations of the best university teaching hospitals tending to be in the cities.
Although many peer-reviewed and non-peer reviewed studies have firmly concluded that the COVID vaccines are anything but “safe and effective” and are the direct cause of many deaths, this information is censored on the Internet and major media. Even a peer-reviewed study in a journal such as the prestigious BMJ – The British Medical Journal – which concluded that for younger people, the mRNA vaccines harmed 20x more people than they helped, is impossible to find in an Internet search for vaccine dangers, unless you already know the exact title.
The December 2022, peer-reviewed study in the second oldest medical science publication in the world next to The Lancet, states unequivocally that the mRNA shots (made by Pfizer and Moderna) are:
“likely to cause net expected harms to young healthy adults—for each hospitalisation averted we estimate approximately [18.5 serious adverse events]…“
In October 2022 Professor Spiro Pantazatos of Columbia University discussed, on the Dr. Drew Show, his research findings that the more COVID vaccine doses had been administered in a given region, the more adverse events were reported, making it all but certain that the vaccines were the direct cause of the adverse events. Prof. Pantazatos then estimated that by the end of 2021 actual deaths caused by the vaccines were in the hundreds of thousands.

But someone like Dr. Peter Hotez, a familiar face on TV pushing the vaccines and attacking everyone opposing them as terrorists, comes up in any search on the vaccines. It was recently revealed that Hotez had received funding from Anthony Fauci which then was shared with Chinese military scientists potentially involved in the development of COVID-19.
Worries are still strong among mRNA vaccine opponents that damage from the vaccines is only beginning to be shown. The average time for bringing any new drug or vaccine to general use is 10 years, and so no medium to long-term side effects are yet known. What is known is that the government, media, and medical establishment lied about everything COVID from start to finish, and so everything one may think they know about the so-called vaccines must be re-evaluated, as well as whom to believe or not believe about “misinformation.”
