FACT SHEET: Department of Defense Study Says Flu Shots “May Increase Risk” of COVID, Fauci Agrees

The study, published at Science Direct is entitled: “Influenza vaccination and respiratory virus interference among Department of Defense personnel during the 2017–2018 influenza season”

“DOD study raises tantalizing question: does flu shot increase vulnerability to coronaviruses?”

Conclusions from the study: ” “Receiving influenza vaccination may increase the risk of other respiratory viruses, a phenomenon known as virus interference.”

“Vaccine derived virus interference was significantly associated with coronavirus and human metapneumovirus”

Excerpt from above article:  “On Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government’s chief of infectious disease research at NIAID, offered his own words of caution about virus interference from vaccines when he testified before the Senate.  “I must warn that there is a possibility of negative consequences where certain vaccines can actually enhance the negative effect of the infection,” he told lawmakers.”

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker’s attempt to mandate a policy of flu shot vaccination for children not only violates basic human rights, but may end up making children more vulnerable to COVID.

The evidence from this well-funded, peer-reviewed Department of Defense study cannot easily be dismissed.  It is yet another reason that vaccination decisions on flu shots, which are the number one cause of vaccine injury according the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, must be left to parents.

Various “debunks” online stress that there is no “proof” of the Department of Defense’s concerns, but lack of proof does not mean lack of evidence, and the evidence was found to be statistically significant.
By receipt of this memorandum the Baker administration and legislators have been fully informed of these new risks and can be held criminally liable.
